There can be a number of reasons for this.

1) Allergy is the most probable cause.
2) Infection of skin
3) Skin rash secondary to some other disease.

To help you better, I would need some more info from you.

Is there any other issue along with this rash, like body aches, any swelling any where in the body, swolleb joints, bleeding, fever?

Brief Answer:
This looks like allergy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing back i have looked at the picture , in my opinion this seems to be skin allergy, which has gotten worse after itching here you have to consider a few things.

1) Use anti allergic meds like citerizine 10mg or benedryl at night.
2) Use some emollient on the skin like petrolium gel.
3) Consider what can be cause of allergy it can be a particular type of cloth, bug , grass or anything.
4) Avoid that allergy causing thing.
5) You can use hydocortisone ointment over it.

It should get better in 4..5 days if you follow instructions. If it doesn't get better you might need antibiotics and a steroid shot or oral steroid as this is now quite extensive allergy , in that case you will have to visit your doctor and discuss about further treatment options like steroids and antibiotics.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
10 days once every night

Detailed Answer:
Considering severity of allergy you need it for about 10 days , take it at night as some people do have sedation with antihistamin. hopefully that will help you much. If you hadn't waited for this long and taken antihistamin in start , things wouldnt have gone this bad anyways still everything will be fine soon there is nothinf much to worry but do take care and try to itch as less frequently as you can.

Regards.
