Brief Answer:
Finding the cause is indispensable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Peripheral neuropathy may have other causes than Diabetes.

These includelow blood levels of vitamins B (B6,B12), autoimmune diseases ( Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, demyelination diseases) also cause neuropathy, as well as exposure to toxic substances.

So I need to know if you got tested about these possible causes of neuropathy too?

The right treatment about neuropathy is related directly to the cause of it.

It is true that medical marihuana helps improve symptoms.

Other treatment possibilities include Amytriptiline, a procedure called Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) done 30 minutes a day for one month.

Since these are prescription drugs and procedures, I suggest you to discuss with your treating Doctor about these possibilities.

Once again, finding the cause of neuropathy is indispensable in its treatment.

Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Wishing you good health.
