What Causes Penile Bruising And Swelling After Penile Fracture?
Question: went to a urologist and I slightly fractured my penis having sex he said I got lucky and it started healing pretty quickly my penis is still a little swollen and black and blue on one side. the pain is still there on and off I still get an erection but he told me to not use it for at least 3 weeks. my question is how long till the come and go stinging pain goes away and can I take something for the swelling

Your Urologist, after examining your penis, has advised you to avoid sex for 3 weeks.
That means, it should be a very minor injury internally.
Very often, it needs a surgical treatment and the injury is internally repaired.
In case, you've not done a penile doppler ultrasound scan, it must be done.
It gives a good idea of the severity of internal injury.
In conservative treatment, we do advise analgesic, anti-inflammatory tablets.
That will relieve pain fast and swelling also reduces considerably in 2-3 weeks.
In case the pain is still significant, you must ask your Urologist for medication.
