What Causes Paranoia Post Intake Of Cheratussin AC Syrup?

Question: I have a cold and the doctor sent me Cheratussin AC syrup and I am now having a real problem. I seem to have lost touch with reality and am paranoid. I am anious. I stopped taking it at approximately 0800 yesterday and it is no 0300. What do I need to do?
