What Causes Painless ,movable Lumps On Jaws?

default
Posted on Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Question: hello, I am a 26 year old female. I have a couple of painless, moveable lumps along my right jaw. one has came and gone for the past couple of years but now I think I have two. I have also had a couple of tonsil stones in my right tonsil recently. I have had no other signs or symptoms and just recently went to my ob/gyn for a yearly exam and she didn't find anything unusual (I know that this is a different area of the body but my lymph nodes weren't enlarged in my groin). I was wondering what you think the possible cause could be. should I be very concerned?

Brief Answer:
May be Inflammatory lymphadenopathy

Detailed Answer:
HI Mam,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that swelling in your right side jaw most probably due to the right tonsillolith.

No need to so much worry but to rule out any other disease like Inflammatory lymphadenopathy consult the ENT specialist.

For your kind information tonsillolith patient may report
1. Foul breath
2. Pain in the throat
3. Cervical lymphadenopathy

Thanks
