Question: i have several very small size pea shape, very painful to the slight touch and even more when I put pressure on them. they feel just under the skin of my superior middle and left abdominal area. I have a constant chronic pain that is radiating now toward my back left side. I feel some relief when I applied some heat on this area. What do you think I have?

Brief Answer:
Can get FNAC or biopsy done.Sound like lipoma

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I too suspect that you have lipomas in the abdominal wall. It is very simple to confirm. Just meet your Doctor and discuss with him if they can help you get an FNAC or biopsy of one of the lumps. That will confirm the diagnosis. However, if you have severe pain in these lumps then you can consider having them surgically removed. I dont think the nerve problems in your foot are related to this. Do let me know if you need anymore clarifications as we would be glad to help. If none then please go ahead and rate this answer. Take care and feel free to contact again.

I agree with you that my neuropathy on my left foot and leg is not related to my problems with my tiny painful lumps on my abdomen but, nevertheless I still would like to know what my problem is in this regard. the biopsy seems a good idea to confirm this diagnostic. Would you discard the possibility of chronic myofascial pain? could this tiny knots be considered like Trigger Points (TrPs)?
Would you please tell me what FNAC means?

Brief Answer:
Do get biopsy. It could be myofascial pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Nice to hear from you again. I would not disregard Chronic myofascial pain as one of the possibilities. As for trigger points, it would be difficult to say without examining you. Your doctor can give you a better advice about that. FNAC is Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology. It is a test in which a small needle is inserted into the lump being examined and some fluid and cells are aspirated and then examined under a microscope to know what the lump contains. It is less invasive than a biopsy and less conclusive. So you can decide whether to get an FNAC or a biopsy done in consultation with your doctor. As for your nerve related pains you could get a Nerve Conduction test and start some Neurotropic medicines which your Doctor can guide you about. They might help to get the pain down. Do let me know if there are any other queries I can help you with. If not then please rate the answer. Take care.
