Question: I've had pain right temple in behind right ear and down right side of the neck going on the 3rd day. The first day though it was the left side of the head. I've took Naproxen, Ibprofren and used heat on neck and nothing is helping.

Brief Answer:
muscle relaxant.NSAID.hydration sound sleep

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I went through the query and understood your concern.

You are allergic to morphine and the NSAIDS are not helping much.

Since the pain is in neck and behind the ear, for similar pain in my patients I advice a NSAID with muscle relaxant like tizanidine or chlorzoxazone. This combination will help in reducing pain and also relaxes muscle. Also have plenty of fluids and daily out door exercises for 30min will help in complete recovery. Use soft pillow and the size should adjust the head properly. Application of topical analgesic cream or spray will help in faster recovery.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.
Wish you good health.

The pain has now moved into my right eye and front of head also with Nausea now also...which I had off and on for the past three days and forgot to mention it until it decided to strike again. I thank you for your time :) I don't have any muscle relaxers but I do have some cream.

Brief Answer:
migraine? NSAID, Anti emetic. tryptan

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Pain will rarely occur in eyes. The common causes may be migraine or glaucoma. Since it is associated with nausea, vomiting and head ache the most probable cause is migraine. For management of such episodes drugs like NSAID, anti emetic with caffeine will help. If not controlled by the above drugs then tryptan group of drugs will help you.

Since these are prescription drugs better to consult your doctor once for examination and for further management.

For now be stress free, relax, have good nutritious food, good hydration and NSAID like acetaminophen and coffee will help you. Consult your doctor once for management.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further information.
Wish you faster recovery and good health.
