Hi XXXXXXX thanks for posting the concern in HCM.
The symptoms you mentioned may be due to the renal stone itself or may be due to some GI pathology e.g. Gastritis or gastroenteritis.
Whatever it is, for acute pain abdomen, you need to visit your nearest hospital ER first. There pain management and hydration will be done. You may have Jonac (diclofenac) suppository for pain in the ER alongwith some antispasmodic (preferably parenteral I.e. In the injectable form for faster action) like Drotin or Decolic. IV fluid may be initiated. Then you need to have certain investigations for diagnosis. These commonly includes a complete blood count, CRP, urea, creatinine, electrolytes, LFT, amylase, lipase. Urine for Routine examination and culture and sensitivity testing. A repeat Ultrasonography may be needed of your KUB (kidney, urinary bladder) region. Antibiotic need to be started after sending urine sample for testing. You may need surgical intervention by some urosurgeon depending upon the size and location of the stone.
For the time being, the medicines you took are good. But, pain can not always be relieved with them particularly if it is of renal or ureteric origin. Stronger analgesics will be needed. So, it is better to consult your local ER. If you have unbearable pain at this moment, you may Diclofenac suppository 50mg stat and 8hourly, along with Tab Rabifast 20 mg and plenty of oral fluid. If you have nausea and /or vomiting, you can have Tab Zofer MD 4mg sublingual stat.
