Hi

Thanks it is in rib cage. Pain is a like a dull ache not sharp or stabbing.
Its a top of just just below the throat. The pain feels from the front
No trauma
No infection or cough

I had a issue i picked up a 20kg flour bag

Muscular pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

I am sorry for the short delay in my reply. It was a very busy day at the hospital

Here is what I think

1. Dull aching pain at the rib cage can either be muscular pain or pain at the junction of rib cage and the sternum known as costochondritis.
2. Treatment is with NSAIDs. The best NSAIDs for this would be acecloefenac. It has to be taken twice daily for not more than 3 days
3. If the pain does not come down then I recommend further work up with a x ray of chest anterior posterior view to look at the morphology
4. Please do not exercise or lift heavy weights until you are better
5. an ideal person to approach for this is an internal medicine doctor

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Brief Answer:
Not heart related

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

Heart related pain is usually stabbing pain, behind the chest and also typically left sided. Sometimes it radiates to the jaw. The pain can typically increases on exertion and relieves on taking rest.

I don't think yours is heart related but no harm getting an ecg done. Appraoch a general physician for an examination and ecg

Hi

My pain has been in same spot. When i am bending it is hurting
I done ECG a year ago i have had a few all normal

Brief Answer:
Not heart pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello

If it is a dull aching pain in one spot then it is most likely to be muscular pain. ECG taken a year ago is not sufficient to rule out current cardiac illness. Please get another one soon.
