What Causes Pain In The Shoulders And Numbness In The Arms?
Question: I have been having a lot of pain in my right shoulder and nummbess down my arm. It hurts all day no matter heat or ice. I have a large cyst on the inside of my elbow from an IV gone badly. Could it be stopping my circulation. I also have been lifting heavy boxes trying to move. I use my right arm alot during the day and even have been shampooing carpet. The pain is incredible. Not normal it should heal if I injured the muscle right? Has hurt for over a week.

It is unlikely that the cyst after i.v. injection is causing your shoulder pain and arm numbness.
In my opinion, cervical spine conditions such degerative discs and spine disease, shoulder grip conditions ( rotator cuff, bursitis ), should be considered and evaluated further as possible conditions that may cause symptoms similar to yours.
Get evaluated first by your primary care Doctor, and probably by imaging of cervical spine and shoulder in order to get a correct diagnosis of your condition.
In mean time, since medications aren't working, putting your arm and shoulder at rest, avoiding physical activity for few days is necessary.
