Question: Hello,
My wife who is mother of 2.5 year old kid, use to feel pain in her right breast. We feel that since son did not feed due to not-so-developed nipple so is the pain.
Please tell is if it is a specific reason or we have something to worry about.

Brief Answer:
Hot water bottle application

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is common to have pain in breast with a retracted nipple so in general nothing to worry usually.
But at times there gets a milk collection which can get infected so in case there occurs local area or warmth or redness then visit a gynecologist for examination at the earliest.
Till then apply hot water bottle 2-4 times a day which will be very helpful.
Regards
Dr Manisha
