What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Testicles?
Question: What causes pain in the lower right side and in the testicles? Pain comes and goes but is intense. Could it be a kidney stone? It just came on all of a sudden on my husband.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your husband has pain in Rt testicle and lower abdomen since couple of days .
The pain inn testicle and loer abdomen could be mostly due to either of the two following reasons.
1) Epididymitis
2) Stone in lower Ureter .
consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum.
In the mean while start taking broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin and Diclofenac twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
