What Causes Pain In The Bladder Area And During Urination?

Question: Pain in the bladder area or frontal pelvic. Location right above the hairline, when my bladder is full it hurts, hurts more if I urinate in a sitting position and hunch forward, than if I urinate standing, hurts more in the morning then during the day, when I urinate the pain goes away. Some days I have no pain or very little pain , other days its sever. Finally I work sitting down for hours, and I do not like to wear anything tight around my waist.

I think it is Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndromes what do you think as three doctors have not been able to diagnose the problem.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in supra pubic region more in the morning which gets relieved after urination

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Have your Urologist done culture and swab test of a urethral discharge obtained after doing prostatic massage.?

Your symptoms are most likely to be due to what is termed as Abacterial Prostatitis .This is a condition where all the routine tests are normal and inconclusive to prove presence of infection.

Please get swab test and culture of urethral discharge obtained after digital prostate massage.

Daily prostate massage for 2-3 weeks with the help of medical personnel or close family member will help to reduce congestion of your prostate and relieve pain.I have been practicing this regime in my patients for last 40 years who are symptomatic without any positive evidence of infection and getting satisfactory results .You can certainly try this .

Prostatic massage gets the material for culture directly from the Prostate hence there are high chances of getting positive evidence of infection if it is there.Please get it done to rule out bacterial infection .
