Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your cocnern. Back pain radiating to leg is due to compressive disc neuropathy which happens when a prolapsed disc compresses on the nerve roots. In old age , age related articular degeneration make it more likely. Use of epidural steroids, pain killers, physiotherapy support and postural rehab is the mainstay of conservative treatment.

If above measures fail, considering for minimal invasive surgery to relieve the pressure of disc over nerve roots is advised. So i would recommend visiting a spine surgeon, let them run some labs like MRI scans of spine and then proceed accordingly.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
