Question: I am a regular runner. of late we i run i get acute pain in my left leg. The pain is not due to any injury. The pain is inside the leg and due to which i am not able to put any stain on my leg. i would like to know if it is due to any deficiency in the body. What is the possible cure of this problem

Brief Answer: Need further details... Detailed Answer: Hi, It would be better if you can locate the exact area of pain. Runner and athletes develop pain on over the middle and lower part of the leg secondary to stress factors. Medically this is described as tibial stress syndrome or simple shin splints. You will need a good clinical examination and X-rays of the leg. I suggest that you consult a nearest orthopedic surgeon and discuss about this problem. Further management will depend on your doctors analysis of this clinical problem.
