    What causes pain in back of head when i cough?

Question: I am curious as to why the back of my head hurts when i cough. Its almost unbearable. I also have eye socket pain that causes pain when i look in any direction.

hello and thabk you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms it seems like you are having problems with your sinuses. My suggestion is to visit your GP or ear, nose and throat doctor and make proper examination to confirm if this is the reason. Until than try to clean your nose with physiologic fluid.
