What Causes Pain From The Armpits To The Rib-cage?

Question: There is severe pain on both sides of my ribs from my arm pit to the end of my rib cage. The pain is worsened by touch and between the ribs. The majority of pain is localized to both of my sides then towards the middle of my back. The pain is always present to the touch but over the course of the day it worsens to a sharp over all severe pain.

Pain is consistant from middle of back to armpits down. Norco and heat are the only to helpful things. Norco less than heat. The pain is always a four to eight. After using heat it sometimes is worse.
No cough, fever, or breathlessness.
No rash or rashes any where.
Over a year ago I was in an accident where for a brief moment I was crushed. Leaving severe brusing on chest and ribs.
No med changes.

MRI has been performed , if yes then report of the same as well other x-ray reports

I cannot get an MRI due to the fusion and the ICD implant, I have had X-rays and Cat Scans but the focus was and has been spine and organ. This is the first time any doctor has gone to internal wall of ribs from breast to spine. It makes sense who should I go to for these tests to determine your hypothesis.
