What Causes Pain Between Neck And Shoulder?

Question: After doing Kundalini yoga stretches 3 days ago (surya kriya) I had a slight ache in right arm. The following day and ever since I have had constant pain if not laying down or moving. The pain is between my neck and shoulder, misses my shoulder then is very painful and constant in my tricep area just around elbow area but elbow bone fine and slight pain sometimes down to my pinkie and the finger next to it. But mainly around my tricep and forearm. Also the ache in my forearm is more like a dull throb. Overall it can be constant and increases if I am not moving or laying down. Also slight pain in right torso. The whole pain goes through the following areas on my right, shoulder blade, neck, upper middle back, down arm, through hand. Very slight at times in all places except the fleshy part of my forearm near elbow which is constant most of the time.

Your complain seems to be a pinch nerve in neck. It can be early stage of cervical spondylitis. I would advice you to avoid any neck bending activity for three four days. You should also avoid using very big pillow. For pain you can take a pregabalin tablet. If your symptoms persist then you should show to a neurologist. Let me know if I missed some thing.
