Brief Answer:
Does not suggest a serious brain disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your recent symptoms. First of all, I would like to reassure you that your current symptoms are not suggestive of any serious brain disease.

Most likely, you have a tendency for migraine, a type of vascular headache. With laughing, the blood flow increases to some parts of brain, leading to heading and swelling sensation.

If the symptoms are troublesome, you may benefit from beta blockers such as propranolol tablets.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Hello Dr XXXXXXX

First n foremost thanks for the reply, I'm very pleased the way you have explained my problem. Also got a relief after knowing its not a serious issue.

However, apart from medicine, I want to know is there any other exercise or diet which will help me to get rid of it completely.

Or in other words, is it curable with or without medicine.

Brief Answer:
As of now, you can try non-medical treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

In the initial phase, you can try without medications.

You should ensure good night sleep of 7-8 hours and ensure timely meals. You should not skip breakfast.

Regular exercises such as walking, jogging, cycling or swimming for 20-30 minutes per day would also be helpful.

You should avoid Chinese food, cheese, soft drinks, etc which may aggravate your symptoms.

Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
