What Causes Pain Around Navel Along With A Foul Smelling Discharge?
Question: Had some pain in belly button last week. Used peroxide on qtip as have done in the past. Pain all gone, but have had a smelly discharge for 3 days. See doc?

Saw doc last evening, thankfully no sign of urachus. Diagnosed bacterial infection, prescribed Muporocin 2% 4X5 days. Hopefully this clears it up!

But the bacterial infection does not come out of nowhere in this location. There must be some factor. Even if the ultrasound has been done and no evidence of urachus, it is still possible. So if this wont clear up, consult urologist.

Appreciate the added information, and I will definitely follow-up if this doesn't begin to clear it up in a couple more days. As I write this, there is still some discharge issues, so hoping tomorrow is better.
