What Causes Pain Around Genitals And Pain During Ejaculation?
Question: I have light pain just above my genitals for 2 weeks now. Have seen doctor and taking anti bacterial ciprofloxacin for a week to cure diagnosis for an infection of the prostrate. I also have been feeling like something is moving just under the skin above genitals in front of pelvis for a week now. Also feel a sharp pain just before having an orgasm during sex.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain around genitals and pain during ejaculation.
I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have any urinary symptoms like burning urination ,frequency,urgency etc associated with pain around genitals? .
Painful ejaculation and pain around genitals is mostly due to infection of prostate (Prostatitis) however it needs to be confirmed .
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical; and digital Rectal examination and get following basic tests done under his guidance.
1) Routine Urine test and Urine Culture
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Semen examination and semen Culture.
4) Serum PSA.
You need to take appropriate broad spectrum antibiotic as per culture report along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily for 3-4 weeks .Start with Cefixime twice daily and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Further treatment or any more investigations to be done will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.
