Marginal corneal ulcer is also called catarrh ulcer occurs near limbus. It is reactive to staphylococcus toxin immune reaction. It is like autoimmune disorder. For management steroid drop and ointment with imuno suppressive drug might have to be given.

It is at times associated with neuralgic pain of face and head. Staphylococcus in conjunctival sac and lid may produce toxin to which reactive morexela haemo phylus strain hervores in lid margin and conjunctiva sac may be taken. Cleaning of conjuctival sac and lid margin with sterile bud is required. Since it is an immune response steroid is to be associated. Warm compression is to be given.
