Brief Answer:
Neuropathy or radiculopathy

Detailed Answer:
Good afternoon and I'm terribly sorry that you're suffering in this way. Your symptoms of pain and swelling sensations in the hands and fingers as well as radiating sensations down both legs are very reminiscent and consistent some form of either NEUROPATHY or POLYRADICULOPATHY.

In short, either nerve roots in your neck or back may be suffering irritations from things such as degenerative arthritis or you may be suffering a metabolic process that places you at risk for these types of pains. Examples of metabolic processes that causes neuropathies similarly described include diabetes mellitus, nutritional deficiencies such as Vitamins B12, D, and Folic Acid. Other things that could also be wrong and contribute to your symptoms include a below normal functioning thyroid gland and other potential hormonal imbalanced states.

I would recommend you see a doctor such as a neurologist who can send you for proper testing and evaluations to determine exactly what the problem or problems might be so that you can be treated which will surely make you feel better and instead make you "hop" with XXXXXXX instead of pain.....:)
