    What causes pain and fullness in the left ear?

Question: My left ear is throbbing and feels full. Does not appear to be inflamed.

You are probably having eustachian tube blockage.
Please tell me do you have any nasal congestion or throat infection in the recent past or any history of recent air travel?

Yes I have had nasal congestion recently. Bad couple weeks ago and residual now. Also have had several recent air trips and also have been swimming/

Have used ear drops

Thanks for the information.
Take a combination of levocetrizine and pseudoephedrine two times a day and xylometazoline nasal drops three times a day.
Take steam inhalation and chew a gum that will also help decongest the tube.
Avoid swimming for few days.
Take all medicines for a week.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at prescription only.
