What Causes Pain And Discomfort Below Rib When I Sleep On Right Part?

I am having dull pain below my left rib.The pain is not constant.During my sleep if I sleep on right part and left part towards celing then i can feel discomfort in the same area.Just to let you know I have hyperacidity and I am on meds for the same.

Pain associated with Hyperacidity or acid peptic disease usually occurs on right side below the rib cage.
The pain below the left rib cage in absence of other gastrointestinal symptoms is likely to be musculoskeletal pain especially in view of postural occurrence of pain. I hope you are not suffering from constipation , regurgitation, heartburn
I would suggest you the following
1. Regularly take your medicine for Hyperacidity
2. Ensure intake of meals on timely basis
3. Local application of hot water fomentation will relieve the muscle spasm
Do consult your Physician for routine assessment if symptoms still persist
