What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Penis While On SMZ-TMP DS?

Question: my husband is on his second round of smz tmp ds 800 160 mg tabs and he has severe burning and pain in his penis and is urinating alot every 15 min he takes them 2 times a day what should he do is it from these pills the only other meds he is on is metaformin 2x a day and trosheiba for diabetis

I will like to know if he has any rash on his body. Also, has he been taking SMZ-TMP before? This because we may be dealing with an allergic reaction and there is need to stop this drug.

My plan is to stop this drug, consult his doctor and review for allergic reaction.

no rash yes he just finished taking 14 and she renewed the pres monday. yes he is on his 2nd round of 14 pills
