Brief Answer:
Inflammatory changes perhaps...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the details. From what I understand the symptoms became more painful and consistency of fluid also changed after you drained fluid. Based on these details, perhaps inflammation / infection may have set in after you drained fluid.
Cephalexin is good for contaminated infection such as the ones your described. However in my opinion you should also be started on antiinflammatory pain medication while an attempt should be made to drain fluid out under aseptic precaution.

Therefore you can also start over the counter pain medication along with cephalexin. Press for early urologist appointment. If early appointment isn't possible, visit the ER and get the fluid drained.

Hope this answered your question.

Regards
