Posted on Tue, 8 Jul 2014
Question: My husband is experiencing significant pain across his abdominal region with some constipation, no temp, a little nausea/vomiting last night. Had a check-up w/urologist this AM, mentioned symptoms to him ... he thinks may be diverticulitis. What can he do to relieve the pain until he calls his GP Mon for an appt?

Brief Answer:
take a laxative

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

The pain could be due to constipation following the built up stool inside.

Give him any laxative solution and he should feel better after he relieves himself.

You may even give him enema if that is possible for yoy to give at home.

Hope i have been helpful.
