Question: i have a large lump on the bottom of my left testicle it is painfull also shooting pain up through my abdomen.I have had that before but this isn't anything like that at all

Brief Answer: It could be Epididymitis(Infection of Epididymis) Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have infection of the Epididymis( Epididymitis). However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination and on following tests. 1)Ultrasound scanning of the scrotum and colour Doppler study of scrotum. 2) Routine urine test and urine culture . 3) Haemogram with total and differential WBC count. Please consult qualified Urologist and get above tests done under his guidance to confirm the diagnosis. In the mean while take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
