What Causes Numbness In The Legs And Feet?

default
Posted on Tue, 28 Apr 2015
Question: My feet and legs are numb and legs hurting. Now my feet feel like they weigh 100 lbs each. My left hand and arm are beginning to do the same thing. Also, my skin itches terrible but there are no rashes or anything. It seems to be progressing quickly. Also my eyes are getting much worse and I have a loud ringing in my ears. I am a male 63 years young, weigh 160 lbs, non-smoker , non drinker. My mother died of Light Chain Deposition Disorder, and had a lot of the same symptons. XXXXXXX Simmons

Brief Answer:
Need immediate neurological examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

From what you are describing, if I was your caring doctor would advise to schedule an immediate appointment with neurologist.
If you cannot have an immediate appointment, then you should go to ER for immediate evaluation.

A deep neurological examination is advised together with MRI of spinal cord and cardiac tests.

Hope it was of help!
