Brief Answer:
To rule out prolapsed intervetebral disc

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms,

Numbness and pins sensation suggest compression of the nerve root supplying that region of foot.
The site of compression is most likely to be the Lumbar spine, possibility of prolapsed intervertebral disc strongly needs to be considered and ruled out.
Being over weight is another risk factor for development of this prolapse.

I would advise you the following
1. Assessment by Neurologist and Spine Surgeon
2. MRI spine in consultation with Physician

In the meantime, I would suggest you to take absolute bed rest. Intake Of Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamine ) and Pregabaline will be helpful.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
