Brief Answer:
need to screen for nutritional deficiencies
Detailed Answer:
thank you for the reply.
from your information we can safely rule out diabetic neuropathy, neuropathy secondary to alcoholism, any spine related issues.
It appears, that the muscle ache of your knee and shoulder is due to the physical nature of your work. Resting the muscle can provide some relief.
1) we ll need to screen for nutritional deficiencies. Vit 12 levels test can be done, as vit b12 deficiency can have similar picture.
2) an Xray spine can be done as a baseline investigation, just in case we do not miss out on any spine related problems like vertebral fusion, or stenosis, etc.
3) blood sugar levels and complete blood profile can be suggested.
In case if there is pain or the problem appears to progress, it is always wise to consult a near neurologist as a proper physical examination is needed.
Meanwhile we can await for the reports.
Feel free to share any information if needed. and welcome for further suggestions.
