Brief Answer:
Carpal tunnel syndrome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Symptoms you describe ( especially worsening after sleeping ), are typical of carpal tunnel syndrome ( or compression of median nerve as it passes through the tendons of the wrist ).

First, you should have a nerve conduction study of your left arm and hand in order to evaluate the stage.

If moderate to severe nerve dysfunction, you should consult a Orthopedic surgeon or Neurosurgeon in orders to discuss the nerve decompression.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
