What Causes Numbness And Pain In Leg With History Of Back Fusion Surgery?
Question: I had back fusion to L5 S1 on 4/30 and my right leg is numb and pain full why? Plus I have pain around iv site and red spots now it also goes down first finger

Meanwhile L4-S3 level supplies leg area so during healing process or post op time, nerve may get affected resulting in numbness & pain along the course of that particular nerve. hello
whenever iv line is taken then sometimes, blood may accumulate in subcutaneous tissue giving red color. it will take few days to get absorbed and heal completely.
