Question: Hi. I had a really strange feeling. I became nauseated, started sweating buckets, the had this pressing pain in my shoulder, chest and neck. I started feeling like I was going to fall down so I got to my bed. I feel better now, but my ears are ringing and I have a headache. Matter of fact, I have been fighting a headache all day. What on earth is going on? Should I go to the ER?

Brief Answer:
Visit ER & consult relevent specialist later.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query under Health care magic platform.
* Yes, You should go to ER earliest.
Though your symptoms could be due to simple bloating of abdomen due to GIT disturbances accompanied by routine head ache you have, looking at your age, first possible diagnosis goes in favor of cardiac problem.
Your symptoms of sweating, pressing pain in shoulder/ chest & neck.. suggest heart problem. The head ache you had through out the day might be from raised blood pressure which resulted into the pressing pain in chest & other problems .Also the head ache at present is likely to be out of high blood pressure.still remaining, which can be controlled well with medication & would prevent further recurrence of the symptoms.
* As to suspect & try for relief is better than being negligent...you need to visit ER & get the primary treatment to control the symptoms.
Before you approach there - please take bed rest( use ambulance/strature while going to ER.). Avoid physical efforts/ try to be composed, don't be tense.. early diagnosis & treatment is the key to fast recovery .
* Following this you should take an appointment of a cardiologist/ gastroenterologist & get fully investigated & treated as per advise from ER.
I hope the answer was both informative & guiding to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Wish you a fast recovery.
