What Causes Nausea And Vomiting When Diagnosed With Gastroparesis?
Question: I have gastroparesis and narrowing of the pyloric valve, with constant nausea, some vomiting and always feeling sick, My doctor has prescribed oral erythromycin suspension which is helping some, but I cannot afford it. I am a XXXXXXX living on social secutiry. Is there any other med I can try. I was on metoclopromide for years but developed head jerking so he stopped that med. Do you have any other suggestion?

Gastroparesis per se is not curable and you have added pyloric narrowing:
It is not much known that Metoclopramide causes tardive dyskinesia after a long use although it is possible or the dosages could have been halved - please discuss for this with your Doctor.
Another medication that can be tried is Domperidone and needs a prescription of your Doctor and may help better and cause least dyskinesia unless taken in high dosage.
All such medications should be taken strictly at 8 hourly interval to cause avoidable side effects.
Take plenty of fluids, fluid diet.
Identify the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems/symptoms helping better life.
