What causes nausea and light brown color vomiting?

Question: I am 63 y/o female. For the past 2 mornings at abou the same time, I start becoming nauseated and vomit yellow contents. I also noticed that when I start to vomit, the contents are light brown in color.

I read your question and i understand your concern, the nausea and vomiting episodes in the morning with light brownish tint is suggestive of gastritis and likely gastric ulcer. Treatment is supportive, diet and lifestyle changes, avoiding trigger diets like spices, fatty, spicy, dairy products. More fiber and fluids, eating small frequent meals and doing regular exercise helps. COntinue taking some omeprazole empty stomach 1 hour before meal and take some gastric motility enhancing meds and see if it helps.

Domperidone, metclopramide , levosulpride, etc are some of the many gastric motility increasing medications, Using fiber in bulk with yogurt and peppermint also helps the motility.
