Brief Answer:
Likely from bisphosphonate ( Risedronate)

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
Risedronate is a bisphosphonate used in the treatment of low bone mass. However, one unwanted side effect is indigestion and esophageal irritation. This can certainly make you sick. We advice patients to sit upright for one hour after taking this tablet on empty stomach.

This being the likely cause of your symptoms, you may have to rule out other causes like viral infections etc.

You make take Pantoprazole 40 mg in the morning along with some Anti acid chewable tablets. Please meet your GP if you still feel miserable.

One option for people who develop ingestion symptoms while on these medicines is to use Intravenous ZOLEDRONATE ( ZOMETA) once a year. This is once a year and there is no side effect like indigestion. Please discuss this option with your endocrinologist or GP.

Kind regards
Binu
