What Causes Nausea And Heartburn After Taking Nitrofurantoin And Wellbutrin?

Question: I had a lap band in 2010 with no complications. I was hospitalized last week for 4 days for depression and started on risperidone, .5 mg twice a day last Thurs. I am also on nitrofurantoin 100 mg, 4 times a day for urinary tract infection, since Saturday. This morning I had both these meds plus 150 mg wellbutrin, a bite of cheese and a hard boiled egg. Most of the day I have had nausea and heartburn. About 45 min ago I vomited black. I did have a "stitch" in the area of the lap band a few hours ago when I was standing then it went away.
Should I be concerned? I am new to the area and do not have a dr.

I understand your concern and feel sorry for your present situation.The drug list and the food which you mentioned here could be the reason of your problem.

Taking food like cheese might cause serious food interactions which should definitely be evaluated.Other possibility of blood vomit could be Gastritis,esophageal varices,alcoholism etc.

I would say you need to see a physician and rule out these diseases,before any emergency situation arises.
