Question: I was in ER last week with UTI and dehydration, woke up this morning with headache and nausea feeling bad overall

Hi welcome to Health care magic,
I see you were given Omnicef as an antibiotic. This can lead to severe acidity causing nausea and headache.

If there is acidity please take Omeprazole 20 mg twice a day (till you are on antibiotic).
Take paracetamol 500 once or twice for headache for a day.
Also I am sure you are--but do remember to drink atleast 3L of water a day.
Were your blood urea and creatinine levels normal?

Thnx ive started the omeprazole two nights ago as ive had problems with acid in the past. Not sure of blood urea or creatine levels but know infection was significant and blood was in urine, im also type 1 diabetic been on insulin 12 years

No harm in checking urea and creatinine if it was not checked in ER especially since you are a Type I Diabetic.

Dehydration can lead to kidney damage which is dangerous in a Diabetic person.

I will check into it thanks, im off antibiotic still taking omeprazole, still so nauseous other than that im ok, Im making sure to drink plenty of water have had at least 64 ounces a day but every morning i wake up sick to stomach, usually feel better in the evenings.
