Although your doctors seem to be investigating an abnormality with the bile tract, your symptoms could be due to a gastrointestinal condition. So it would be wise to look into this system as well.

Hello once again ma'am.

Thank you so much for that information ma'am, it really does help.

You should know that:
-Nausea
-Abdominal pain
-Back pain or pain radiating to the back from the abdomen
-Dry cough
-Bitter taste in the mouth
are all typical symptoms of GERD and are all quite sufficient to make and confirm a diagnosis of GERD.

As you have not experienced relief from most of the commonly used medications for GERD, if you were my patient I would prescribed a combination of medications like:
1. An antacid (eg. gelusil, tums, gaviscon, etc.)
2. Famotidine
3. Lansoprazole
4. Baclofen: which will not reduce your symptoms directly but will help control the poor functioning of your lower esophageal sphincter which is the main cause for the acid reflux

So in conclusion ma'am, I do not think you have anything often. If you were hoping to hear something on that level, I am sorry to inform you that your symptoms are simple and most probably due to the GERD. :)

I am more than happy to inform you this. The only trouble you are having is difficulty with responding to medications that help address GERD. In such patients surgery is advised, and so I would first request you to speak to your doctor about initiating the treatment regimen suggested by me, and if this fails you can consider surgery which should surely help improve your condition ma'am.
