Brief Answer:
Steam inhalation could be helpful.Get a ENT checkup.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me first ask you whether you have got your nose examined by a ENT doctor since he would be able to exclude any nasal pathology like nasal polyp or deviated nasal septum which could be the source of the bleeding. Brownish discoloration indicates that the blood is old. I understand that the blood seems to be coming from elsewhere but still it should be from somewhere in the nasal cavity. The mast cell activation disorder correlates directly with it. Even though you are not specifically allergic to something, the system that controls the reactions to allergies, is defective in a person with mast cell activation disorder and such a thing is often associated with nasal bleeds.

Try to cut down on your smoking if you can.

Let me know if you have any specific queries and I would try to help.

Regards
