Question: I'm 21. I've always had a regular period. About a year ago i went off the pill..my period kind of moved by a few days but never missed it. Recently I have put on about 35 pounds. Stopped working out and what not. All of a sudden i have stopped getting my period. I also live in a stressful environment. Wondering why I have stopped getting my period.

Brief Answer:
Hormonal disturbances likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Irregular and delayed periods can be due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease, or can be due to stress orweight gain.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including ultrasound and hormonal profile and get treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
