Question: I have been having mild stomach cramps and light spotting mid cycle for about a year. I've had 3 kids and a tubal ligation. My paps have been normal. Should I be concerned?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry about.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
With regular Pap smears, you have no cause for concern.
What is your age , and your height / weight ?
Sometimes , certain factors can cause cramps and spotting - ageing, travelling, smoking, drinking, late nights, erratic eating, pills or medications, stress, anxiety, weight fluctuations, unaccustomed exercise etc.
Does any of this apply in your case ?
You should have an internal exam and a pelvic ultrasound scan plus hormonal tests ( FSH, LH, TSH , Prolactin ) to rule out possible cyst, fibroid, cervical lesions etc.
All the best
