Brief Answer:
For how long has this been going on?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this metallic taste that you have reported. This is often not an infection in itself but signals a probable viral infection. The good news is that this often last a couple of days or a few weeks and things return to normal as the infection is controlled by the body.

In all, let me know for how long. However, there is hope that this will resolve spontaneously with no need for further medical intervention.

Let me hear from you if you have any further concerns or unaddressed worries. I wish you well.
