Question: I have been getting a metallic taste in my mouth after coughing,wheezing,and difficulty swallowing no choking just feels like the muscles in my throat don't want to swallow as easy as it used to be,. I have an inhaler butalin and use is every now and then for wheeze and shortness of breath. My own doctor prescribed it as he said I had bronchitis. What could my problem bez?

I read your question and I understand your concern. Your doctor is very right. The metallic taste is very likely due to chronic bronchitis and associated airway involvement. As soon as this bronchitis subsides and symptoms resolve the taste will get back to normal. Taste buds get masked by these symptoms and it's a normal sequelae of such air way infection from cold to bronchitis.
Cough , history of asthma and medications used for bronchitis themselves cause metallic taste and self resolve on its own completely.
Just drink plenty of fluids and maintain your hydration status and wait for the symptoms to resolve. Compliantly use your medications and don't worry .
