What Causes Menstrual Irregularities?
Question: Dear Sir/madam,
Important attention please : This is about my wife (age-21) mensuration period , my wife have below mensuration period cycle for 11 months.
Jan-24th-2016 ---Feb-20th---march 19th-april-17th---may -15th---june-10th---july-8th---aug-2nd---aug-30th- Sep 25th-oct-22nd-nov-16th
So my question is,,,, it is not same days for each month , it is varies from 24th to 29 days. I am worry about is there any problem ?
Also sometimes mens not done properly …may be 1 & ½ days completed , also as per normal I think 4 days ,,yes ???
Will it affect future to get pregnant because of above reason , what is your opinion sir ?
Please give suggestion , what need to do ?

Women get their menses usually at a frequency of 28 days + or - 4 days. This is considered as regular menses. In this periodicity also, + or - 7 days periodicity is acceptable.
Your wife is having periods between 24 to 29 days which is absolutely normal regularity and you need not be concerned about it.
During menstruation, usually, the main volume of bleeding is during first 14 hours. It may continue for another day also. After that the bleeding minimises and gradually stops after 4-5 days.
Your main concern is whether she will conceive with such (?) irregular menses. I would advise you to get her ultrasonography ovulation monitoring done. If she is releasing eggs, you do not have to worry about her pattern of menstruation.
