Question: Hi,

My son is 15 years, couple of months back he had Chicken pox. But, currently I am seeing similar kind of pox on his face and back. it is increasing day by day. please suggest. Attached pic for your check.

I have reviewed the attached photograph.
Is this lesion on the face fluid filled or solid?
Is he having fever, sore throat or any other associated complaints?
If possible upload some more pictures of the affected areas especially a close up view.

Seems to be acne, doesn't look like chicken pox

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it looks like acne.
It is not looking like chicken pox.
I would recommend him to apply benzoyl peroxide 10 percent gel on the affected areas twice daily and take tablet azithromycin 250 mg once daily for 3 consecutive days in a week for 3 weeks.
These are prescription drugs and should be used under the supervision of the doctor.

Hi, gel which you mentioned as 10% but in medical shoo I found only 5%. Can i use 5% gel
