Question: I have not been feeling good in many ways but I have lumps under my skin on my left side of stomach area, left and right side and they hurt. Also my back under right side of rib have been hurting. Constipation to diarrhea, lots of gas, when eating it hurt and I throw up tired, blood pressure up and down and heart rate fast, bladder hurts and urinate a lot. Blood work comes back within normal ranges just slightly up....I don't know what to do because these little nodules hurt a lot when I touch them.

Brief Answer:
can be neurofibroma or infected sebaceous cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Those painful swellings can either be infected sebaceous cyst or neurofibromas.

Plus you seem to be having gastritis too as you are having abdominal pain, bloating and gas and vomiting.

For gastritis, i would suggest that you take a ppi like omeprazole or pantaprazole along with a antiemetic combination like domperidone or levosulpride.

For the swelling you need to show to a general surgeon for a physical examination to help reach a diagnosis. And the drugs for your gastritis, he can give you the required prescription.

Hope, i have been helpful.

Thank you for writing back...the thing is that the lumps can be felt but not seen...no swollen areas but you can feel it under the skin...can it be some type of colon polyps coming out cause it seems like it almost follows the colon area. They are also almost right nest to each other they feel maybe a pea size or bigger.

Brief Answer:
its mostly lipomas then

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

There are three layers of muscles between the skin and your colon. And colon polyps are situated inside the lumen. So absolutely no chance that you can feel then over your skin.

I think that you are most likely having a multiple lipomatosis. Its a benign condition (fat swellings) with no complications except occasional pain. Its not feasible to remove all of them. Only the one which are very large or causing too much pain should be removed.

But it still needs clinical examination for confirmation.
