What Causes Lump Inside Throat?

Question: I have a large, two finger tip width lump in my throat seemingly caused by a mass outside my throat between the throat and spine. What can it be? The lump comes into the throat at least half way across hype throat opening.

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I would like to ask you few more details.
Since when are you having swelling in neck.
Any other symptoms associated with lump in neck like pain,fever and waight loss.

Here I am giving possibilities of lump in the side of neck.

The First possibility is solid lump-lymph nodes enlargements,salivary glands growth,vessels-carotid body tumor,bone-cervical rib

the second possibility is air containing sacs-laryngocele,pnematocele,pus in parotis,paraphryngeal space.

the third possibility is aneurysms

the fourth is tb lymphadenitis.

I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get ent examination,laryngoscopy to rule out the status of vocal cards,ultrasound neck,fine needle aspiration cytology for lymphadenitis.ct neck for solid growth.ct angiography for aneurysms.
